Victory at the Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards

Aero Tec Laboratories Ltd (ATL) is delighted to have scooped a double victory at last night’s Milton Keynes Business Achievement Awards (MKBAA), winning the prestigious Business of the Year award, as well as being recognised for hard-work and dedication to Innovation and Technology.
Held to recognise the achievements of Milton Keynes businesses within a variety of sizes and sectors, the DoubleTree Hilton at Stadium MK was bursting with various vibrant local companies, all celebrating the amazing work happening in the city.
Aero Tec Laboratories Ltd manufactures composite bladder devices and fluid transfer systems for Racing Cars, Aircraft, Space Craft, Defence Vehicles, Submersibles, Marine Craft and Industry. Employing over 120 staff locally, ATL works with world-beating proprietary materials to create a product which is crash-resistant, explosion-suppressant and extremely lightweight, supplying an impressive list of valued and innovative repeat customers including Hybrid Air Vehicles, Porsche and every Formula 1 team for over two decades.
Announcing ATL as winner of the Business of the Year award, Dr Philip Smith MBE, Chairman of the Milton Keynes Business Leaders Partnership (MKBLP) said: “The business of the year is outward looking. It has a growth mind-set. It seeks to be innovative and creative. It manages its stakeholders well and understands that it is part of society not apart from the community in which it is embedded. This is a tough list of attributes to fulfil. It is a highly innovative and frontier company. Aero Tec Laboratories has indeed ticked all those boxes.”
