Date Added: 14/01/2019
ATL started the year as we intend to continue, with a victory in the Autosport International Product Showcase Awards – our FIA FT5 safety fuel cell material winning the award for Cross-Industry Applications.
Held at the NEC in Birmingham, the Autosport International show was once again a great success and gave us the chance to meet new and existing customers, answering questions about our innovative capabilities and giving people a chance see and touch our world-leading technology.
The Product Showcase Awards are a new feature held on the first trade day of the show – Thursday. Our FIA FT-5 (818-D) material impressed the judges with its high technology and adaptability. Its development for use in new industries such as Aviation and Defence were highlighted as being particularly impressive.
We are honoured that our world-leading technology has been recognised by Autosport and the Motorsport Group, a powerhouse in world motorsport. Following the presentation, James Gornall (Head of Sales & Marketing) commented “For many years Aero Tec Laboratories have been diversifying into industries outside of motorsport. Our technology is highly sought after, with our lightweight technology being a perfect fit for Aviation, Defence and Marine applications to name just a few. It gives us great pleasure to accept this award, and for our efforts to be recognised by the motorsport community.”
ATL was represented by the Sales & Marketing team (Toby Jenkins, Ranald Harding, James Gornall and Aaron Kabeya), Managing Director (Giles Dawson) and Chief of Operation (Cheryl Brimson) during the four-day event. Such is the popularity of our products and technology, barely a moment passed by without multiple visitors on the stand.
The event consisted of two trade show days for individuals in the Motorsport industry and two open days for the public. As is always the case, we saw a diverse range of customers and end-users, providing help and advice for all.
Also in attendance were a number of ATL agents and customers. ATL products could be found at the likes of Demon Tweeks, Gieffe Racing, Ginetta, BAC Mono, Ferrari, Porsche, the F1 feature and the WRC showcase. In fact, there were far too many examples of our products to mention – but we are pleased to see them all on show. The popularity of ATL technology was evident wherever you happened to be.
We very much enjoyed speaking to enthusiasts and racers throughout the whole event, with people from all forms of motorsport present. One of our key objectives is to help educate the racing community on the importance of safety, and also the performance advantages that come from our safety technology.
Overall, Autosport International 2019 was an exceptional show, we won an award and our presence there illustrated our flagship position in the Motorsport industry. We look forward to the next show, be sure that ATL will come to impress!
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand, we hope to see you again!
