Description:

Job Purpose

  • To manage due-date accomplishment within the Cell Production department.
  • Manage effective resource allocation to assist with due-date accomplishment by working with the Cell Production Manager to ensure capabilities are always considered.
  • Liaise with the Cell Production Manager to ensure all actions from the Production Meetings are followed through.
  • Ensure any issues and relevant stage information is captured and fed back to the Production Co-ordinator through the Daily Chases Responses.

Main Duties

  • Resolve any issues with technicians’ next jobs to limit delays within the department.
  • Working with the Cell Production Manager, ensure daily targets are set and communicated for all technicians.
  • Liaise with Production Co-ordinator and other department Managers where necessary to communicate any delays.
  • Use effective resource management and allocation to limit delays as far as possible.
  • Complete the Daily Chases report to provide feedback to the Production Co-ordinator about the stage of each job within the department, ensuring all issues and any other relevant information is captured.
  • Be able to justify any overtime that is necessary from the technicians within the department, making sure all hours are authorised fortnightly.
  • Liaise with technicians to ensure all holiday requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Assisting with the continual improvement of the department, liaising with the relevant Managers where necessary.

Package

  • Competitive salary - £25,000 to £32,000
