Job Purpose

  • To play a vital support role across various teams including, but not limited to IT, Sales, Finance, Recruitment, Supply Chain and Health & Safety.
  • To work efficiently and effectively as an Administrator, ensuring all policies and procedures are being followed and prioritising own workload.
  • General administration support across the business where required.
  • Responding to requests and queries from all levels of seniority.

Main Duties

  • Assist the MD & COO when required with a variety of tasks;
  • Assist HR with recruitment;
  • Assisting the Motorsport Sales team with administration and system updates;
  • Assist with the input and processing of sales orders to incorporate all invoicing and shipping arrangements;
  • IT Administration;
  • Preparations for management meetings and if required take minutes;
  • Assist the MD with the administration of key customer accounts;
  • Management of the cleaner staff;
  • Ownership of stationery for the business;
  • Assist with matching invoices and delivery notes for Finance;
  • Cover supplier payments in times of absences for Finance;
  • Ensure policy documentation is up to date and relevant;
  • Booking travel and event arrangements;
  • Event Planning including BTCC weekends;
  • Assist with management reviews and preparation for ISO;
  • Import and Export knowledge and assistance;
  • Responsible for general reception duties including welcoming guests, setting up the boardroom for meetings and answering telephone calls;
  • Health and Safety knowledge and assistance;
  • Cross-skilling with other admin roles in order to support other departments where required;

This is an evolving role so taking on any other administrative tasks as and when required.

Competencies & Responsibilities

  • Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Be a self-starter and able to hit the ground running.
  • Ownership of administrative tasks from start to finish, demonstrating an ability to problem solve and think fast.

  • Two years of relevant professional experience (Preferred)

  • Taken minutes in management meetings (Required)
