ATL have an exciting opportunity for a talented and driven HR Advisor to join the team in our Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing effective and efficient HR advice and support to employees and managers throughout the business.

Main Duties

  • Supporting Managers on generalist HR issues
  • Assisting recruitment campaigns of all vacancies
  • Liaising with applicants and recruitment agencies to arrange interviews and discuss applications
  • Preparing reports on key metrics
  • New starters onboarding and probation review
  • Contributing to continuous improvement
  • HR Systems and practices
  • Employment Law and Contracts
  • Managing disciplinary hearings
  • Managing grievances
  • Sickness and other absences
  • Use environmentally sustainable practices in accordance with our environmental policy
  • Seek ways to reduce waste and energy usage in accordance with our environmental objectives

Other jobs within your capabilities may be requested from time-to-time including any other role that you possess experience in that the Company may require you to fulfil.

Responsibilities & Competence

  • Ability to adapt quickly in a reactive environment 
  • Being able to contribute to continuous improvement of HR Systems & Practices 

Job Requirements

  • 3 years HR experience
  • 2 years recruitment experience
  • ER experience ideally from within a manufacturing environment
  • CIPD (level 3) or equivilent
  • Ability to adapt quickly to a reactive environment
  • Being able to contribute to Continuous Improvement of HR Systems & Practices
  • Great time management skills
  • The ability to multi task in a fast paced, reactive environment
  • Proactively identify and encourage continuous improvement
  • Self-motivated and driven
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary Package

  • Salary - £28,000 - £38,000 depending on experience
