ATL have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Sales & Marketing to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective management of the Sales and Marketing function and to identify and explore opportunities for new business in all existing markets. You will also be required to manage and deliver aligned key business objectives within your area.

Main Duties

· Ensure that all Sales and Marketing functions are effective;

· Manage communications of the Sales team within the business

· Work with the accounts team to ensure any issues with customer receivables are resolved swiftly and amicably;

· Monitor social media content and seek improvements;

· Continually review the marketing strategy within each market;

· Full ownership of implementing the Diversification plan into ATL and upskilling the team where required;

· Ensure that all required competencies exist within your teams and manage the upkeep of training / certification as required;

· Identify and explore opportunities in new markets;

· Deal with any customer complaints promptly and ensure resolution;

· Assist with the management of the Import / Export function within the business, including monitoring requirements and legislation;

· Identify areas of risk, coaching and training requirements within your area and work with the Directors to mitigate and deliver.

· Escalate any HR issues to the HR team providing detailed documentation of issues arising and any previous discussions;

· Identify areas for Continual Improvement and work with others as required to deliver requisite tasks to achieve the improvements;

· Resource planning for each area including monitoring annual leave, ensuring competent cover for each role and working with other Senior Managers to forecast resource and cross skill from area to area where possible / required;

· Attend management meetings as required;

· Conduct staff appraisals;

· Complete weekly report to Directors;

· Other jobs within your capabilities may be requested from time-to-time including any other role that you possess experience in that the Company may require you to fulfil.

Responsibilities & Competences

· Ownership of the Sales & Marketing functions;

· Responsible for the Corporate branding of the business;

· Manage any online or print media editorial;

· Management of Continual Improvement in this area;

· Maintain professional relationships with all customers at all times;

· Maintain confidentiality at all times ensuring all staff are aware of requisite level of confidentiality per project;

· Ensure approachability and ownership within the team;

· Team development of direct reports.

Job Requirements

· English spoken and written, fluently

· Five years of relevant industry experience

· Highly organised with strong time management

· Personnel Management

· Project Management

· Experience of ISO9001 QMS

· Awareness of relevant FIA regulations & standards

· Online & Print Media marketing experience
Business development experience
