Cell Production Senior Manager

ATL have an exciting opportunity for a Cell Production Senior Manager to join the team. The successful candidate will ensure the smooth running of Cell Production ensure that the schedule and plan is reflective for both staff and jobs. You will also need to maintain tooling, work effectively to manage the team and ensure that you effectively communicate with all other departments

Main Duties

  • Closely monitor the progress of each Cell Production & Foam technicians to ensure all behavioural and technical aspects meet the required standard and progression is available for those that want it;
  • Overall management of the Cell Production & Team schedule to ensure the utmost efficiency;
  • Monitoring of quality and efficiency throughout the department;
  • Represent the Cell Production department at all production meetings;
  • Work with the Quality team to ensure that the Cell Production procedure manual is updated based on lessons learned from Internal Rejects or continual improvement;
  • Work with the Planning team to ensure lead times are minimised at all times through effective allocation of jobs;
  • Management of all operations in FactoryMaster;
  • Conduct appraisals, team meetings and one to one’s with staff as required;
  • Monitoring timekeeping of all staff;
  • Full ownership of Finishing Bonus for department;
  • Ensuring regular spot checks are conducted on procedure adherence;
  • Managing the rotation of level 1 technicians;
  • Ensuring that release feedback is provided in good time and add value to the process;
  • Ensuring the information captured during prototyping of all Cells is of a standard that ensures future repeatable builds;
  • Monitoring of housekeeping and preventative maintenance within the department;
  • Ensure all HR are escalated correctly and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities and Competences

  • Full ownership and accountability of all Cell Production functions;
  • Promote Continual Improvement throughout the Cell Production function;
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times;
  • Ownership of tasks from start to finish;
  • Must have strong attention to detail;
  • Must be an excellent people manager with the ability to motivate and inspire people to achieve deadlines.
  • Ability to manage workload
