Job Purpose
ATL has an exciting opportunity for 2nd Line IT Support to join the team. To be successful in this role you will need to ensure you manage all IT related documentation and guides whilst providing 1st and 2nd Line IT Hardware & Software support for all departments and to act as the internal IT system administrator for all internal servers, network, infrastructure, telephony and business systems. The successful candidate will also be a systems champion and be training new starters on the system.

Main Duties

  • Act as first point of contact for all IT support issues and offering resolution for internal staff, and escalating to external support provider as required
  • Be single point of contact to our managed IT Service provider
  • Have an understanding of ATL infrastructure estate and to offer recommendations to resolve issues or long-term solutions to bigger problems
  • Complete PC builds for new or existing users
  • Management of system access rights to line with ATL's Information and IT Security Policy
  • Assist all staff as necessary with compliance to ATL's Data Transfer & Sharing Security Policy
  • Champion SmarTeam and Factory Master system and any new IT systems introduced within the business
  • Liaise with HR to ensure that leavers are managed effectively within all business systems
  • Monitor business system changes ensuring patch management policy is utilised to prevent system changes causing delays to the ATL business as usual
  • Ownership of ATL's IT network map and future IT roadmap
  • Provide training to users on the key systems we use and how this relates to the manufacturing lifecycle of ATL products
  • Ensure business continutiy plans are up to date for IT
  • Action ad-hoc IT requests
  • To ensure all ATL IT related hardware is managed in the most effective manner
  • Lisiase with external third parties to deliver the most effective systems and services to all staff within ATL
  • Purchase new software and manage all licensing and deployment
  • Other jobs within your capabilities may be requested from time to time including any other role that you possess experience in that the Company may require you to fill

Responsibilities & Competences

  • Overall 1st and 2nd Line support for ATL's IT infrastructure
  • Operational understanding of Factory Master and SmarTeam, plus any new IT systems
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ownership of tasks from start to finish
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage own workload
  • Be able to use their imitative to keep all processes moving

Experience

  • Proficient in Hardware and Software Support
  • Experience in Managing IT related documentation and guides
  • 3 years expereince within an IT role
  • Knowledge of Factory Master or willingness to learn to a proficient standard
  • Knowlege of SmarTeam or willingness to learn to a proficient standard
  • Good experience of Telephony management
  • Good knowledge of IT networking infrastructure
  • Experience of Project Management is desierable
