Hours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per week

Job Purpose

  • To provide first line IT Hardware & Software support for all departments
  • To act as the internal IT system administrator for all internal servers, network infrastructure telephony and business systems
  • Learn and assist with training on Company software packages, SmarTeam and Factory Master
  • Setup and training of new users on systems
  • Liaise with IT service provider

Main Duties

  • Single point of contact to our IT managed service provider
  • Act as first point of contact for all IT support issues and offering resolution for internal staff, and escalating to external support provider as required
  • Complete PC builds for new or existing users
  • The management of system access rights in line with ATL’s Information & IT Security Policy
  • Training of SmarTeam and Factory Master, plus any new ERP systems introduced
  • Liaise with HR to ensure that leavers are managed effectively within all business systems
  • Ownership of ATL’s IT network map and future IT roadmap
  • Assist with keeping the Business Continuity plans up to date for IT
  • Action ad-hoc IT requests
  • To ensure all ATL IT related hardware is managed in the most effective manner
  • Purchase new software and manage licencing

Responsibilities & Competences

  • Overall 1st line support for ATL’s IT infrastructure
  • To understand Factory Master and SmarTeam
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times
  • Ownership of tasks from start to finish
  • First line support for all queries within ATL
  • Must have strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage workload
  • Be able to use their initiative to keep all processes moving

Person Specification

  • Proficient in English, spoken and written fluently
  • Proficient experience in Hardware and Software support
  • Knowledge of FactoryMaster or willingness to learn to a proficient standard
  • Knowledge of SmarTeam or willingness to learn to a proficient standard
  • Good experience of Telephony management
  • Good knowledge of IT networking infrastructure
  • Experience of Project Management desirable

Education

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)
