Trainee Fuel Tank Production Technicians - Ref: ATL-Tech1

Hours: 8am - 4:30pm

Flexible Hours: Able to work full time hours to suit, either 6am – 2:30pm or 2:30pm - 10pm. Pre-requisite is during training period in first 2 months you must work 8am - 4:30pm

Starting Pay: (£8.50 per hour) £17,600 up to £27,000 , Overtime paid at time and a half during peak season

Prerequisites

  • Relevant hands on experience (work experience or recreational).
  • Dexterity;

  • Full training is provided.

Summary of Duties

  • Successful candidates will receive all the training required to be capable of hand crafting a high quality fuel bladder from start to finish, with little or no assistance.
  • Technicians are required to meet deadlines and maintain fair and demonstrated schedules.
  • They are required to follow best practice and present products in a Quality Assured manner.
  • They should strive to become fully versed in all aspects of bladder manufacturing including all material types.
  • Technicians will define their own progression within the business depending on how motivated, committed and driven they are.

Design Engineers - Ref: ATL-DES1

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Prerequisites

  • Degree qualified with minimum of one year's relevant industry experience.
  • Catia V5 or NX experience.
  • Knowledge of part modelling, surface modelling, assembly creation and 2D drafting.
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Well adapted to work independently and also in a team environment.
  • Well justified decision making skills.

Summary of Duties

  • Required to produce high-quality templates for Cell Manufacture, with accurate models, digital representations, drawings and information for the Operations area to follow.
  • Required to document designs and systems throughout the departmental lifecycle to ensure customer's requirements are met and follow company standards.
  • Required to develop job knowledge in all areas of Fuel Cell, Systems and Component Design, and continually progress their engineering capabilities.
  • Required to provide Sales Office with Design information based on sound engineering judgement to assist with quotes on upcoming prototypes and returned cells.
  • Required to assist the Design Manager with general departmental duties; management, procedural development etc. where necessary.

Technical Project Manager - Ref: ATL-MAN2

Hours: 8am - 5pm

Prerequisites

  • Must have very strong planning skills and experience.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Good written and spoken communication skills.
  • Accuracy and attention to detail.
  • A calm and professional manner.
  • Knowledge/experience of software and systems projects.
  • The ability to use your own initiative.

Summary of Duties

  • Management of Internal system and or software upgrade development projects.
  • Ensure the documentation and planning are clear, concise and accurate to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Work with all levels of seniority and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Complete BAU schedule planning for Head of Operations.
  • Work with Managing Director on various business continual improvement tasks.
  • Attend twice-annual management review meetings to manage notes, tasks and monitor progress between meetings liaising with Internal Projects Manager.

Fabricator - Ref: ATL-FAB1

Hours: 8am – 4:30pm - Flexible working supported where possible.

Starting Pay: £12-£14 per hour dependant on experience.

Interview: Practical assessment.

Prerequisites

  • 3 years Aluminium TIG welding experience (typical materials 5251/6082).
  • Some fabrication experience.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with MIG welding.
  • Knowledge of industry safety practices.
  • Basic Math skills.

 Summary of Duties

  • Required to manufacture a variety of fabricated and welded components from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Responsible for ensuring any prototype products have their processes and settings documented and kept up to date.
  • Provide regular feedback to help improve product range and build methods.
  • Responsible for ensuring products are finished to the highest quality.
  • Required to meet deadlines and maintain a fair and demonstrated schedule, providing feedback and justification for improvements/alterations where necessary.

·         Responsible for the development of procedures and processes within the department.

·         Liaising with the Head of Operations and the HR team in administrating HR documents and dealing with ongoing resource reviews.
